    i know only teamviewr and filezila you can add maya software for students

    I use Avast Antivirus. Peer Blocker if I am downloading and don't want big brother watching. Gimp for photo editing. Windows Live Movie Maker for editing video.

    None of them are extreme tools but they are free.

    I use Fraps for recording which isn't free but a good tool.
