DayZ Origins - the Story
so we all know there seems to be some kind of underlying story to origins, you have sector B doctor Ivan, Ivans Lab and a little "easter egg" hidden in the wiki called the Church of saint Ivan its located west of martin. am i the only one who feels like there is more of these "significant" places on this map some of which may not even be released yet, oh and not to mention the Kings Pyramid aka Object X. if you have any info relating the unknown things of taviana 3.0/ origins feel free to reply

The Church of St. Ivan is also included in DayZ Taviana, which is not related to OriginsMod. And it's glitchy like hell, because it's just a normal church with doubled dimensions (afaik also the benches inside)... xD
But I think that's it, you summarized all.

Yea, but the fact that its mentioned on the origins wiki makes me think there might be something involved with the story well see what comes up in the future updates

SW of that church, down the west side of the lake by the castle, is a rock you can enter and it's called something like "Kings Tomb" or the tomb of the king or something? Anyhow, it's all ornate and whatnot, but just a prop, nothing worth doing there AFAIK. Big rock along the shore directly SE of the castle. It's part of regular Taviana and I doubt it has any significance to Origins
There is stuff written in Russian or some other language on the little bunker buildings on all the small islands out in the water. Looks like graffiti. Someone made an attempt at some point to translate at least one of them, I forget what it said but you may be able to do a search for the word translate and get lucky.
If you look at the map for Sabina the area where Dr. Ivans lab is has different coloration. If you look around the city and other parts there are more areas that are off-color like that. I tried to explore most of them, no success. One is the underground train station, nothing there. You can glitch through the wall / floor in the big diplomatic building next to the casino but you just run around in the basement, nothing there, and you have to die or teleport back to your tent to get out I think. I even tried to swim south from the lake under the bridges and look for water tunnel entrances to new areas and got killed in the tunnel when waves made me go up against the bottom of an invisible boundary box foundation for a building above. After all that I loaded the map in the editor because it allows you to explore 3D at high speeds via camera movement instead of character movement. You can keep holding descend while racing over the terrain, through buildings, etc, and see if you drop down into a hidden portion of the map. I checked all of Sabina and Sector B and didn't find any new areas.
I would love to see them have a roof-access-only ladder going down into the top of the Casino that leads to some well defended rooms that have good loot in them or something like that. Like pockets of well equipped survivors like at Sector B. Maybe you have to find a combination number somewhere else, go to the destination, put gas in a generator, start it, and use your toolbox to repair a broken reinforced vault door to gain access to riches beyond, after killing the well armed NPC civilians holed up inside of course. Maybe it could be a series of requirements. If the generator doesn't stay running and the breaker switch doesn't stay closed it all fails, so you are wise to leave teamates guarding all of it

I assume you're talking about the rock with the golden tomb and strange golden flooring at 148 118 NE of Novy Bor? I've always wondered what that was. I built a house there cause I thought it was a cool location.
