Origins 1.7.1 Angels Release

Today We are pleased to announce the release of Origins mod 1.7.1 update which answers many of the long awaited community requests of introducing Female Zombies, Female Heroes and Bandits, new weapons and goodies and a new Survivor made Vehicle.

The new features of origins 1.7.1 once more pushes the modding boundaries, We have focused this time on solving duping issues, securing houses from glitchers, and the most annoying combat log abusers, migrating more back end operations to server side, increasing game performance and again focusing on introducing the best Dayz experience till date. How to Manualy Install Origins

Note : For updating just delete the old @dayzOrigins and replace it with the new download. For new installs just follow the steps below :

There are two ways to install this mod.

For steam users:

1. Make sure you have updated Arma2 / Arma2 OA

Note : ARMA2 Beta patch 103419 is now mandatory install

Insure to download and install it from here :

Required: Download the latest Arma2OA Beta Update from here (103419)

3. Extract the Zip file to a temp folder then copy @DayZOrigins Folder to the root of Arma2OA folder

4. Download the latest Arma2OA Beta Update from here (103419)

5. Extract the file to any temporary directory then Run the update.

Note: Some times the update gives you error Wrong Key or some thing .. just ignore it and continue with the latest patch installation .. click ok then ok

6. Download the Mod start shourtcut from here

7. Extract the Zip file to a temp folder then copy RUN DAYZ ORIGINS.CMD FILE to the root of Arma2OA folder ( same like step number (3)

8. Double click on RUN DAYZ ORIGINS to Run the MOD

9. Join DayzOrigins Servers (Search for: dayzorigins.com servers ) or Add DayzOrigins to your game server Filter.

How to manually create your Origins short cut?

Goto your ARMA 2 OA beta folder :

Example :
F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\

Right click on your arma2oa.exe and create short cut, then they copy it to your desktop.

Right click your newly made short-cut and edit its Target : properties to be like this :

"F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@DayZOrigins"

Don't forget to change driver letter and path to your own

Instaling Origins using DayZ Commander

Dayz Origins can be easily setup and downloaded using DayZCommander.

Make sure to download and regularly update dayz commander from here .

NOTE :

BE WARE OF FAKE ORIGINS SERVERS

They are a scam and does not represent the origins concepts or gameplay .
Only the servers that show on DayzCommander and the Origins Servers

Make sure to update Dayz Commander from here to be able to install the new update.

Note : The 1.7.1 Update IS NOW UPDATED ON Dayz Commander
